Every networker needs to master the “four core skills.”
What happens when we start our networking career? See if this sounds familiar. Our prospects:
The result? New networkers become discouraged. They do not know how to talk to their prospects correctly.
#1. Rapport. If they don’t trust us and believe us, nothing we say will make a difference. If we get this step right, everything else will be easy. If we get this step wrong, it is time to go home.
#2. Icebreaker. Once they trust and believe what we say, we use an icebreaker to introduce our business into a social conversation. A properly-formatted icebreaker will get our prospects to want what we offer.
#3. Closing. We get our prospects to decide if they want what we offer or not. Their minds make this decision first. If the answer is “yes” to what we offer, then we go to the next step.
#4. Presentation. This is the easiest skill. Our prospects already have made their “yes” decisions. Using our professional judgment, our presentation could last one minute or 20 minutes.
Think about this. All of our prospects are pre-sold. They want what we have to offer. They want more money. They want the benefits of our products. They want the benefits of our services.
So what are we doing wrong?
We literally talk them out of it. By using social talk instead of commercial talk, we force our prospects into “no” decisions. We can change this by mastering the four core skills.
⇒ Prospects love to buy! They hate to be sold.
In this MasterClass, we will learn how to follow the sequence of steps that will make our prospects want to buy. Our prospects can now make a “yes” decision effortlessly. It feels natural.
We hate rejection. But rejection is a sign that we are talking to our prospects’ minds out of sequence. We should take that hint.
Here is an abbreviated example of a partial sequence in action. Ready?
Us (building rapport): “Do you hate this job is much as I do?”
Prospect: “Our dream-sucking vampire boss makes this place a living hell.”
Us (icebreaker): “I just found out how we can work out of our homes and leave this job behind.”
Prospect: “Yes! I can’t do this job forever. It is killing me. Tell me more!”
Us (closing): “Would it be okay if we had a cup of coffee with my sponsor Joe after work? He can tell us all about it.”
Prospect: “Let’s do it! We can’t waste time. I am running out of blood.”
The decision has been made.
The presentation is easy. We have options. The “one-minute presentation,” the “two-minute story,” the 21-word presentation, and more.
We only give presentations to people who have made a “yes” decision first. No more rejection. No more objections. We save our time and our prospects’ time.
In addition to live calls, you'll have access to replays of the calls (sent to you within 24 hours of the live call). Replays are available on demand so you can review them anytime you want, up to three weeks after the calls.
Now would be an excellent time to start learning and mastering these skills.
If you don't already have these skills, now would be a great time to learn them. If you do have these skills, you can always refresh your memory so you can pass them on to your team.
Then now is not a good time to start.
We will record the classes, and the replays will be available for three weeks after the final class.
Then we will put you on a waiting list for the next class.
